FAQ
Q
Can food, drinks, selfie sticks or large luggage be brought into the aquarium?
A

We recommend visitors refrain from bringing outside food and beverages, with the exception of baby food for infants. Selfie sticks are also discouraged. Suitcases, large backpacks and other bulky items are suggested to be deposited at the luggage storage counter.

Q
Is photography allowed inside the aquarium? Is flash photography prohibited?
A

Visitors may take photos for personal use. To protect aquatic life, flash photography must not be used, as bright flashes may trigger stress responses in aquatic animals.

Q
Do you offer stroller and wheelchair rentals for families with infants? Is it convenient to move around exhibits with strollers or wheelchairs?
A
Complimentary stroller and wheelchair rental services are available. A cash deposit is required upon collection (¥600 for strollers, ¥800 for wheelchairs), which will be fully refunded once returned. Rental equipment can only be used within the aquarium and must be returned before closing on the same day. All exhibit areas are equipped with accessible walkways and elevators for easy movement; on-site staff are ready to offer assistance upon request.
Q
Are nursing rooms, luggage storage facilities and wheelchairs available at the venue?
A
A nursing room is located on the 2nd floor. Complimentary luggage storage is available for ticket holders from 09:00 to 17:00, limited to large bags and suitcases only. All stored items must be collected by 17:30 on the visit day. If daily operating hours are extended to 21:00, the luggage collection deadline will be postponed to 20:30.
Q
Does the venue provide accessible facilities, first-aid stations and other visitor amenities?
A

Barrier-free walkways and elevators are installed throughout the aquarium for unobstructed movement. A first-aid station is situated in the 1st-floor lobby, stocked with basic medical supplies to handle minor cuts, dizziness and other mild physical discomfort.
